We invite you to join us for an 8-week series diving deeper into the principles of nonviolence and empowered communication, also known as Nonviolent Communication™(NVC). Used in international conflicts, mediation, family/individual relationship support, NVC allows you to connect more deeply with your body and felt sense by learning new tools for noticing what is driving thoughts, evaluations and judgments. NVC is applicable to all relationships be it at home, work, and with the larger world.

In the intro session, you will catch a glimpse of how a shift in perspective can enhance greater immediate compassion for yourself and others. Bring a recent situation/issue you will want to work on. It will be a presentation and interactive group session.
In the foundation series, you will learn how to connect with greater clarity and awareness to what motivates you and others behind words and actions, enhance your capacity to voice your true self and empathically guess what may be precious to others, strengthen connection and trust and explore the healing power of empathy on core beliefs and habits.
The workshop format will include short presentation, empowering coaching questions, experiential exercises, empathy partnering and inner processes/journaling in between sessions.

Notes:
Sitting is on yoga blankets or cushions. Bring your own backjack or soft seating option for comfort if need be.
The room can have various temperatures and we will always do our best to adjust to what is comfortable to our group but be ready to have various layers to take off or on.
Bring your own water bottle and something to write on.
A folder will be provided at the foundation series 1st session to continue filling with handouts along the 7 weeks.
For ease to everyone’s diverse sensitivity, minimize or hold on wearing any perfume. The Studio tends to burn incenses early in the day and we’ll be able to open windows if need be at the beginning.
