This 7 hour training will prepare participants to engage in public nonviolent action, including nonviolent civil disobedience. It will provide participants with:

  • An introduction to the principles, philosophy, and history of nonviolent civil disobedience for social change;
  • Interactive exercises to role-play a range of possible situations;
  • An overview of the potential legal consequences;
  • An opportunity for community-building and shared reflection on this process, including one’s hopes and fears; and
    A review of practical needs and logistics.

The Pace e Bene facilitator leading the training is Josie Setzler.

This is a follow-up to the January 20th workshop led by Josie Setzler.  You did not have to attend the previous training to join this one.  All are welcome!

Cost is $25. Registration fees cover the workshop, supplies, lunch, & drinks for the day. REGISTRATION ENDS MAY 12, 2018! Be sure to register soon.
