This is the last in a series (but can be attended without having attended the others!) of presentations.  This session is ” An introduction to nonviolent action (NVA)- a meaningful peace and justice in a world of physical violence.  The presentation includes: Nonviolence around the globe: what makes it powerful? Real world conflicts-what does active nonviolence look like? Imagining security without violence in real life situations.  The session is presented by Dr. John Reuwer, a medical doctor and adjunct professor of nonviolent conflict resolution.  Dr. Reuwer has been teaching alternatives to violence for 30 years.  He is currently in Harrisburg PA to address the high incidence of street violence.
